Cake boxes need to have a sturdy bottom and preferably a lock mechanism to keep this easily perishable and damageable item safe from harm. If you want to beautify the box and put it on display in the bakery window or on the counter then you can get it embossed. Also, you can get window patching done on it, which will make the cake more visible from inside.
